Raymond Coe

Coe, Raymond W. Ypsilanti, MI Age 70, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the V.A. Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born June 25, 1944 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Jarvis and Lenora (Finney) Coe. He served in the U.S. Army. Raymond was a lifelong Ypsilantian and loved his city. He also enjoyed playing, watching and going to sports games, especially baseball and softball. Survivors include: one son Raymond (Dana) Coe of Jackson; one daughter Tracy Petersen of Jackson; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jessie Petersen; four sisters, Barbara Rippee of Jackson, MI, Dolores Fisher of Owensboro, KY, Sandra (Ray) Christ of Mainesburg, PA and Patricia (Jeff) Coe-Withington of Lakewood, CO; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Coe. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be 12 noon Friday, May 29, 2015 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 5163 Fort Custer Drive, Augusta, MI. Contributions in Raymond's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.

I am so sorry to hear about Raymond Coe passing. I remember learning much from him as a wrestler. My sincere condolences to the Coe family. May fond memories bring you all comfort.
