FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Cecile Marie Burkhart, 58, of Falling Waters, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004.Born Nov. 25, 1945, in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Germaine Beaudry Legault.
She was a graduate of Ypsilanti (Mich.) High School andWashington Bible College in Lanham, Md.
She worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Pennsylvania.

Cecile gave me my first French lesson when we were in the 9th grade at East Jr. High School...."je vous adore de tout mon coeur." Which translates "I adore you with all my heart." I never found an occasion to use it on anyone in particular, but I never forgot it. I was so sad to hear of Cecile's passing.

Cecile, Connie Lutes, and I were very close in high school and afterward. Cecile was a bridesmaid of mine. I think the last time I saw her was our 25th reunion where she told me about how she and her husband were now missionaries here in America. Dear Cecile's family,
I was so shocked to hear of her passing. Sounds like she graduated early. I'm so glad she got to serve as she loved with her husband. I still remember the sound of her voice and that beautiful accent.
