Mills, William A. (2/14/44 -- 9/26/91)
William A. Mills, 47, of Salem Township, died Sept 26, 1991, at Reed City.
Mr. Mills was born Feb. 14, 1944 in Highland Park, the son of John H. and Emile (Oja) Mills. He married Mary L. Smith. She survives.
A lifelong resident of the area, he had been employed for 29 years as a manager at the Ford Motor Co.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mills of Ypsilanti; daughters, Mrs Dawn (Jack) Pattee and Lisa, both of Wixom; sister, Carole Cross of Colorado; brother, John of Arizona, and one grandson, Jack Curtis.
The Rev. Carl Pagel officiated at a funeral service being held today, Thursday, Oct. 3, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 17810 Farmington Rd., Livonia. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.

I fondly remember Bill and John Mills. When I was in high school they lived two doors down from me on Jeffrey Street in Ypsi. We used to have parties in their basement and played spin the bottle. Bill was a great guy and I am greatly saddened by his death.
