Preston, Guy Monroe Ypsilanti, MI  3/1/44 - 2/22/2010

Age 65, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at home following an extended illness. He was born March 1, 1944 in Paintsville, KY, the son of Guy W. and Claretta (Arnett) Preston. Mr. Preston was employed by Ford Motor Company, Ypsilanti plant for 34 years, retiring in 1994. His interests included hot rodding and railroading. On March 9, 1964, he married his loving wife, Martha Jean Zwaan and she preceded him in death February 26, 1991. Survivors include: one daughter, Angela Marie Preston; one brother, James and his wife, Brenda, Preston of Englewood, FL; one nephew, J.D. Preston of FL; one aunt, Dolores Ritchie of Milan; and several cousins. The memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday, February 26 at Stark Funeral Service. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
