Mitchell, Robert 11/30/1944 - 4/9/2015 Manchester, Mi. After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Bob died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born to Grace (Wisener) and Louis Mitchell November 30, 1944 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gene and Tommy. Survived by his adored wife of 47 years, Rose (Cobb) Mitchell, daughter, Jill Mitchell, son, Bobby Mitchell, And grandchildren, Tasha Tansey, Ryan and Emily Mitchell. Brother, Tim Mitchell. Bob served honorably in the United States Army from 1965-1971. After discharge from the Army Bob worked for Ford Motor Co. before taking a position with the Ypsilanti Township Fire Dept. retiring in 1991. Bob was a master craftsman proudly building the home that he and Rose lived in for 24 yrs. A man of honor, Bob will be loved and missed. Memorial service to be held at later date.
